Arrival at Maltby

1. Arrival time for students being dropped off: 8:25 Students will not be let into Maltby any earlier than 8:37.

a. Use of the drop off lane is preferred. Students exit on the right hand side of the vehicle.

b. Parents please DO NOT drop students off in the parking lot and drive away. If you want to drop in the lot, you MUST park and walk your student to the nearest sidewalk.

1. 7 second rule!  Once stopped in the drop off lane, you have seven seconds for kids to get out of the car with their backpack. Make sure kids are ready to move, before you stop.
2. If you are late for any reason, walk your student to the door and ring the bell. You can tell the secretary the reason and the student can come into the building. Parents do not need to enter the building.     

Dismissal at Maltby

1. Students are dismissed at 3:37. Students will go directly to their bus or find their parents to be picked up. Parents may either wait along the pickup lane in their car for their student. Or Park and walk to the nearest sidewalk and wait for your student. Students MAY NOT walk to your car in the parking lot unaccompanied.
2. Students who ride a Hornung bus will need to sit in the bleachers in the upper gym until dismissed.
